View the book trailer for Project ELE!
So today, I’m interviewing the awesome authors of the ELE series – yup, that’s right. There are two of them! Here’s what ELE is about:
Millions have already died, and thousands more are perishing daily. As a last ditch effort to preserve the human race, the government implements Project ELE. With the earth heating at rapid speeds, all remaining survivors are forced to turn to F.E.M.A. shelters to wait out ELE’s wrath.
Fifteen-year-old Willow Mosby’s life, as she knows it, ends the moment she walks through the shelter’s door. Willow has to quickly adapt to the new challenges that shelter life demands, which includes making new friends and working a full time job.
Soon after making an interesting discovery, Willow and her friends start exhibiting strange abilities. Seeking answers, they embark on a mission to find out what these new abilities mean and whether they are a gift or a curse.
This new adventure can send her world crashing down around her. The question is: Can Willow survive the fall?
From the best selling authors of Night Marchers comes a new apocalyptic series with a paranormal twist.
RIGHT??!??!?! I’ve got to get my hands on this one. But before I do, check out the interview I did with the two authors, Rebecca Gober and Courtney Nuckels:
First of all: tell us briefly what your book’s about.
The ELE Series is an apocalyptic series that revolves around a young heroine named Willow Mosby. Willow’s world is changing and due to a very deadly virus, she has to take refuge in a shelter. Soon Willow realizes that there is more to this shelter than meets the eye. After her friends make an interesting discovery, they start exhibiting strange new abilities. Project ELE starts this series off with getting to know young Willow. There is some heartache, major lifestyle changes, new friendships, a blossoming young romance and lots of good old fashioned betrayal.
What would you like readers to take away from this book?
While The ELE Series was written for our reader’s enjoyment without a specific life lesson in mind, there are still some nice tidbits to gain from this series. Willow Mosby learns a lot throughout her journey including: what happens when you rush into things without thinking, how to handle loss, making new friends, dealing with bullies, fighting off bad guys, falling in love for the first time, dealing with complicated feelings and more.
What’s your favourite part of writing?
There is so much we love about writing. We saw a quote that best describes why we write: “Because kidnapping people and forcing them to act out your interesting make-believe worlds is technically illegal.” We love delving into new worlds, creating and falling in love with our characters and kicking our bad character’s booties! Writing is an extremely enjoyable creative outlet.
Do you think you’ll keep writing young adult books?
Not writing isn’t even plausible. We can never imagine a year without creating at least one or two amazing stories. We not only love writing young adult books, we love reading them and now we love publishing them!

And finally: best bit about Clean Teen Publishing?

It is literally the most awesome sauce, kick butt, slam dunking, Indie Publishing house ever!
*Opinion may be a bit biased*
These guys sound like fun, yeah? Well then you should definitely go and buy their books. Also, if you’re a writer, you should totally submit to them. I mean, it’s awesome sauce!
